Taken from the download site:

The Windows Server 2008 Developer Training Kit includes a set of hands-on-labs and presentations for technologies such as IIS7, Management, WCF, WF, Windows CardSpace, Windows PowerShell, Virtualization and the Transactional File System (TxF). The content was originally created by Microsoft's Developer & Platform Evangelism group as part of the Windows Server 2008 Touchdown training activities.
The seven hands-on labs included in this kit are based on the DinnerNow sample application.

Since I'm going to be doing some months of development with classic ASP on my Windows Vista Enterprise machine I had to set it up specifically. So this is not only a post for others but also one for myself in case I have to do it again in the future.

Go to control panel | Programs | Turn Windows featurs on or off | Internet Information Services | World Wide Web Services | Application Development Features | ASP.

IIS7 hasn't shipped yet but will be available in Vista and Longhorn server. It provides better ways to extend it and configure it. There's also already some nice video content about the subject:

Microsoft also provides the possibility to test drive it on one of their Virtual Labs.
