« Developer posters for 2007 Office System... | Main | WPF/e becomes Silverlight »

I'm using dasBlog for nearly a year now and am quite pleased with it. Since recently Mads Kristensen decided to get his hands dirty and create a new blogengine that he likes to share with the rest of the community by making it open source on CodePlex. Way to go!!

If you're interested you can grab the source code here: http://www.codeplex.com/blogengine.

Soon I will start a new blog at blogs.nimble.be and I was looking for an alternative to CS. I think I will give dasBlog a shot because they have changed the licensing model for CS. Or maybe we should start a new project? :-)

Hi Gabriël,

you could of course join the effort by Mads if you have some free time to spare. Knowing you I doubt that :-).

Personally I'm fond of dasBlog. I also created custom macros for it, which is really easy if you follow my tutorial: Create macro.

I doubt too that I will have the time. My biggest problem is that I am working with so much different technologies that when I have an assignment of 6 months for example for a TFS deployment and customization that I am also working with TFS in the evenings and weekends to get the max out of it. If my next assignment will be a Smart Client app I will spent my time with CAB and the Smart Client Software Factory and patterns. I wish that I could repartition my time...
